for cricket lovers....

in a cricket match 02 batsmen r on 94. Seven runs r needed from the remaining 3 balls to win the match.
Both the batsmen score 100 notout. Is tht possible .. if yes thn how ?

  1. Yes, batsman on strike hits a boundary and then runs three for the next ball one of which is a run short and then next batsman
hits a six on the last ball.

  2. Yes its Possible...batsman on strike play for a single run and filder try for runout and its a overthrow..so now batsman on strike is 99...in next ball he take a single....and last ball of the match next batsman hits a six....so now both batman on a hundred...

  3. first ball- 6 runs
second ball- 3 runs in which the batsman takes a short run. so it will be counted as 2 runs.
third ball- 6 runs by the other batsman..

  4. First batsmen hit ball for 2 runs and he took 1 run easily and run for second one and fielder overthrow the ball for 4 runs @ the same time both batsmen crossed the half pitch[for 2 run] so he finally gets 5 runs in first ball and also retain the strike. [2 runs to win]

Now second ball he go for single and mark his century.[1 run to win]

Third ball batsmen hit for 6.
